Social Media For Good

Social Media for Good is a virtual volunteer program where participants use their digital skills to share, promote, and amplify the mission of Better Days Empowerment. Volunteers create and post uplifting content, motivational messages, and program information to inspire engagement, spread awareness, and encourage participation in Better Days Empowerment’s programs.
This program allows volunteers of all ages to make an impact online safely, while gaining digital experience and contributing service hours.
Content Creation
Design graphics or illustrations with positive messages
Write captions, posts, or mini-articles for social media
Record short videos or motivational clips
Develop campaigns for specific programs or monthly themes
Content Sharing
Share official Better Days Empowerment posts on personal or community pages
Encourage friends, family, and followers to participate in programs
Use hashtags and campaign links to increase reach
All posts must be positive, uplifting, and aligned with the organization’s mission
Content must be appropriate for all ages
Must avoid controversial, political, or negative topics
Do not include personal contact information or solicitations
Encouragement in Ink

Encouragement in Ink is a digital letter program where volunteers create uplifting, hope-centered messages that are delivered to individuals in need of connection. The program is designed to support seniors in assisted care centers, patients in hospitals, children in pediatric units, and other individuals experiencing isolation or challenging circumstances.
Writing Must:
Uplift, inspire, or comfort the reader
Promote hope, strength, kindness, or resilience
Use supportive, respectful, and inclusive language
Writing Must NOT:
Give medical, mental health, legal, or personal advice
Include graphic descriptions of trauma, illness, or distress
Contain negative, harmful, or triggering language
Include personal contact information or requests for replies
Art For Better Days

Art for Better Days is a virtual creative program open to everyone. Participants of all ages and skill levels use visual art to express encouragement, hope, and positivity. Artwork may be shared with individuals in need of uplift—such as seniors, hospital patients, and children—or showcased online to inspire the broader community.
Who Can Participate
Open to all ages (youth, adults, seniors)
Artists of all backgrounds and experience levels
Anyone who wants to use creativity to spread encouragement
All artwork must:
Center on motivation, encouragement, hope, or kindness
Be appropriate for all ages
Avoid graphic or distressing imagery
Be original

On a daily basis, many people face enormous obstacles such as impoverishment, malnutrition, a lack of access to health care and schooling, and a lack of development resources. You can directly contribute to giving essential resources and support to people in need by giving to Better Days Empowerment.
