Encouragement of the Week 〰️

Dear reader,

If you are a young teen, life probably feels confusing right now. You are no longer a child but you also do not have full independence yet. Expectations keep increasing, school feels more serious, and sometimes it can feel like pressure is constantly building. The truth is that life does not suddenly become easier after this stage. Responsibilities grow and decisions matter more. However, you grow as well. Every awkward moment, mistake, stressful day, and disappointment is helping you become stronger and more prepared. You are learning how to handle real situations earlier than you realize. Those experiences are building patience, confidence, and resilience. Because of that, you should still enjoy this time. Laugh at small things. Try activities even if you are not good at them yet. Spend time with people even when it feels awkward. Focus less on appearing perfect and more on making memories. Not everything you do now has to determine your future. Some experiences can simply exist to make you happy and help you grow. Life will become more challenging, but you will also become more capable. There is no obstacle ahead that you cannot learn to overcome. You do not need to have your life planned out right now. Very few people actually do. You will make mistakes and that is normal. You will feel behind at times but you are not. Things that feel permanent right now will eventually change. Keep moving forward, keep learning, and do not give up on yourself. You are not stuck. You are simply at the beginning.

Sincerely, Brian
